“I am inspired by intense visuals all around me, whether man-made or in nature.  My goal is to evoke emotion in others through colours and texture on the canvas.”

About & Shows

ABOUT

Andrea C. Wojnicki painted and drew prolifically in high school. As a young adult, she turned her attention away from art, towards academia and business. Andrea developed her creative and strategic thinking skills while earning B.Comm, and MBA, and Doctorate in Business Administration degrees. She is the founder and chief talker at Talk About Talk, a learning platform focused on all things communication, including “Communicating with Colour” and “Exercising Your Creativity.”

Several years ago, Andrea decided to exercise her creativity through painting. She enrolled in painting classes and had the good fortune of meeting some talented and supportive teachers and fellow artists who have become trusted mentors and friends.

Andrea is inspired by texture and intense colours. Her favorite colour is turquoise, but she also works in bold primaries, subtle greys, and metallics in her mixed media works. Her creative inputs come from many sources; nature, architecture, interior design, and fashion. She has created customized paintings to enhance homes and offices around Toronto. One of her favourite projects is to work with clients to create personalized paintings to suit their personality, their preferences, and their space.
